Overview

Here is an interesting and exciting travelogue in Malayalam, giving an insight into the history, culture and poetry of England, written in a lucid, fluent, recollective and emotionally charged style.

Kamala Das (Madhavikutty), the renowned Indo Anglican Poet and story teller writes, "Prof. Joseph has been fortunate in getting invited to Seminars conducted by august bodies like the Commonwealth Association for Education and Training of Adults and the United Learning Trust, chiefly due to his long association with Adult Literacy Programmes initiated in the State of Kerala by the late Patriot and Social Reformer P.N. Panicker. Prof. Joseph's friends including myself encouraged him to publish a record of his experiences in Britain for the benefit of those who cannot travel when they wish to. Prof. Joseph employs a lucid style in his narration comprehensible to the very young among readers and hope that more and more invitations come to Prof. Joseph."
